Welcome to Faith Academy!
Faith Academy was formed to bring Christian homeschooling families in the Conejo Valley together for fellowship and
support. Our activities are designed to offer fellowship, encouragement to parents, and learning opportunities for our homeschooled children.
This site exists to provide information for families who homeschool in the Simi Valley, Moorpark, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Camarillo and Westlake areas and those who would like to learn more before making the decision to homeschool. Here, you will find information about our ISP and Support Group, as well as general and California specific homeschooling information. Whether you are
looking for a private ISP, or you are happy with your current school, we hope you will find this site to be a helpful resource.
Who We Are..We are a Christian private ISP that offers a homeschooling cover program for students throughout Ventura County, CA. We are also experienced
homeschoolers who are dedicated to educating our children, and helping others homeschool with confidence and peace of mind.
What We Do ...As an ISP, we are here to help you find the information and resources you need, at a price that will fit your budget. We accept
students in grades 1 through 12. Enrollment is open year round. We provide:
- Comprehensive Record-keeping Services
- request and maintain student records
- communicate with school officials as needed, keeping your privacy intact
- provide all of the necessary forms
- file all of the required paperwork with the California Department of Education as a private school
- student and teacher identification cards
- online support via our Homeschooling Message Board
- Support and Guidance
- choosing curriculum
- creating portfolios
As a support group we offer many activities which are available to families in the Ventura County area. Many of our activities are open to all homeschooling families, families with preschoolers, and to families who are considering homeschooling. Some of these are:
- field trips
- co-op classes
- park days
- holiday parties
